Re replaying recorded bird songs to lure other birds close to you, it should be perfectly OK to plus in a pair of battery-powered speakers, like those people use for their music player/iPod.

The built in speakers are not loud, but give a
good sound quality, thus good for checking the recording quality! I've tested it with my Bose headphones and the sound is superb!

One little complication with the 'wind jammer' is that while it gives excellent pop protection, it doesn't cater for using headphones, as the plug
blocked by the 'wind jammer', or the plug (if attached first) prevents the 'wind jammer' to attach properly ot top of the LS-10!

Proved to be easily solved with a hole punch :-)! First attach the 'wind jammer' then insert the
headphone plug - as easy as 1, 2, 3! Should be a hole in the 'windjammer' to begin with, but you
can't get everything you want in this world of ours, can you?!

By the way, some small handling noises can be heard when you hold it in your hand, unless you are very careful, or you wear some sort of soft gloves!

Just done a little recording yet, but it sure beats what I've used before (tape, digital cassette recorder (made by Philips, not same type as Sony DAT), Sharp MD recorder, et cetera!

Hopefully it will work as well with my Perl and Sennheiser microphones!
