I just got mine from Absolute Music Solutions in the UK (via Amazon.co.UK), and hope to use it for just that kind of recordings. Plus use it for recording music!

With time we'll know how well it worked!

Some have complained about the wind protectors that came with the unit, but there is now a 'Wind Jammer' for it, and that seems to do a much better job!
