to the other recorders you have reviewed? From the previous reviews you have done you really seem to like the audio quality on the Korg, Sony and Olympus. Does this unit compare to those? As a musician I am really interested in this feature rich device but first an foremost the audio quality has to be there. Thanks Mark your reviews are excellent and really quite helpful.

  Audio quality is such a subjective term, as David and I discovered when we posted the recorder comparison chart: http://digitalmedia.oreilly.com/audio/portable-recorder-comparison/
  
  I have learned that one person's "excellent" is another's "so-so." That is why I have posted uncompressed audio clips of the same guitar with every review.
  
  No one is a better judge than yourself-- download the clips and play them back to back. If possible, stick them in a DAW and adjust for level differences. Listen over good speakers or 'phones.
