I'm sorry if this is a bit off-topic, and I suspect this isn't really the appropriate forum, but I am truly stuck and hope that someone who sees this might be able to help.
I have an 8-Gbyte ipod nano that I received as a gift, pre-loaded with quite a bit of material. I run fedora core 7 and would like to load mp3s ripped (with grip) from my own CDs to the IPOD. I acquired gtkpod, and managed to download the new songs onto the ipod. The songs do appear on the ipod, but when I try to play them, they just sit at time zero on the progress bar and don't play. So near ...
I have dug and dug on google, and found some queries by people with similar problems, but no actually useful replies. Can anyone help?
