I have windows XP2 running on an HP laptop with a targus usb bluetooth dongle with the WIDCOMM 5.1.0.110 stack. It activesyncs successfully with my PDA.

I bought a blueant T8 Micro bluetooth headset with the cunning plan to connect it to the computer and use it for hands free VOIP via skype or other.

In my dreams. I finally got it working (shows in quickconnect as 'hands free' but in my bluetooth services as 'headset') only to find that I receive audio via the T8 but the mcrophone channel is overloaded with noise. I have tested this using MSN and skype but can't seem to fix it.

Any ideas please?
