I have a class B which inherits from class A. I have a collection Vector<? extends A>. why cant I cast it to Vector since B inherits from A?

    Slight modification in the question:

    I have a class B which inherits from class A. I have a collection Vector<? extends A>. why cant I cast it to Vector since B inherits from A?
