So, like... when's that 2nd edition coming out ? The Linux Cookbook is the most thumbed-through book on my shelf :) ::bows reverently in Carla's direction::

  Aww, thanks for the reverent bow :). I've been having some conversations with my editor about releasing a 2nd edition. I'd like to do it this year, but we haven't decided yet. It's held up pretty well. If all I did was clean up the mistakes, clumsy bits, and outdated stuff, it wouldn't take very long. Though I think it needs some new material too, the Linux world moves fast.
