When I create a new project POM for maven, I'm done writing 99% of my XML in 15 minutes. And at that I'm doing declarations not logic. No frigging way I can claim that with ant or the raven proposal.


The last thing I need is to throw away perfectly good network upgradable solutions to my standard build processes and targets. I dont need to reinvent the wheel. I need off the shelf "wheels" so I can immediately turn to my deliverables, which ARENT build scripts.
