| I have noticed that using Simple Video Out 2.0.6 and Quicktime 7.3.1 (on Intel or PPC) I can only play out files that use the DV/DVCPRO NTSC codec (which, oddly, can be played out with video echo port on or off); any other quicktime video files will send their sound out by firewire but accompanied only by a black screen. My guess is that this is due to an incompatibility with the latest version of quicktime--is there some way to work around this other than converting all my files to DV NTSC? | ||
