Hi! Yes you can go 55 feet or longer. You will probably need a preamplifier which is a booster that you attach to the antenna and run the coaxial cable thru the unit. The preamplifier also comes with a base unit placed near your tv. You will also have to use the heavier duty RG6 cable. I live in Northern Minnesota and have a 70 foot tower for TV reception. My cable run is 100 feet, with a preamplifier and RG6 cable the tv works great. Any other questions you can email me at bres566@yahoo.com. Mike. |
