Hi David,
Being a newbie to recording, any discussion regarding the multi-channel recording is beyond my 'scope' at the moment, though definitely I'll be 'tinkering' with it in the future. Nevertheless, I was simply stunned by the 'Dolby Headphone Output' recording even when it was on the 'off' mode. Excuse me from straying from the multi-channel recording topic but I'd just like to know whether that off mode is exactly what it sounds like when coming directly from the H2 itself, or was there any processing involved in between, like adding an electronic reverb? It simply sounded so professional that it's hard to imagine that that - specifically the 'off' mode sound - was a raw recording coming from a relatively cheap gadget without the help of any electronic processing, though I've heard studio experts can make such recordings with the use of natural 'ambience' in the studios.
