Hi, I enjoyed the article and I respect your opinion and your comfort with your role. However, I'm a woman who prefers working with technology to "social engineering". To each her own. I know it's early yet, but I hope this section will feature some articles on/by women who *are* into the technology. Sheryl

  I enjoy both, but I hear you too. I've avoided many a "women in technology" conference or organization because it has amounted more to "women near technology" -- women promoting or popularizing the end product of a lot of hard geeking. But half the programmers at my job are women, and they are some of the geekiest. We're out there!
