The biggest problem with Aperture isn't the transfer of exposure adjustments, etc. It's metadata. You cannot create a decent workflow with metadata that goes into the photo in a way that's readable with Bridge/Photoshop (and Extensis Portfolio which we use for collaboration on photos in our department).


If you can't make metadata work between Aperture and Bridge/Photoshop, then it's pretty much useless for multi-user environments. Lightroom is seamless in this way. So what I can say? I have to use Lightroom at work because metadata is the lifeblood of publishing.
