Thanks for writing about the analog->aperture workflow! I'm using analog cameras to shoot slides and b&w and I've come up with a similar system with one exception. I usually end up scanning the whole film in high res which is kind of unnecessary, I'm gonna go with your way and only scan the nice ones in high res.


Btw, have you noticed problems using nikon scan on a mac, that sometimes you get these white pixels in the image that creates a very annoying noise? It looks like the pure black pixels all go white?
