Please help me i configured tomcat 5.5.23 whenever startup the tomcat its creating threads(java process too many) basicaly my tomcat server is busy around 170 java process creating. Its any problem server side ? i am using mod_jk apache+tomcat i configured apache and tomcat using mod_jk

  Please provide the thread dump you have....that might help in understanding if you have any unnecessary threads. Normally I would 170 threads are a bit high but it all depends on the way application is coded.
