Professional bloggers already exist....they're called Reporters. I read a daily report that describes what's happening with mortgage rates and why. This guy is writing an article, just like every other shmuck who's written a daily article since Gutenberg. This isn't a weblog, folks, or even a new concept. And the reason why don't want to hire a blogger to do your reporting is the same reason why Journalism schools exist: effective reporting is a craft, just like effective coding is. To think that maintaining a weblog makes you a reporter is just plain silly: programming my VCR doesn't make me a programmer.
