I had a painfull experience with several routers, before I purchased Fritzbox. It is a super reliable and an easy to use router. I've set it to run an FTP server by attaching a USB drive to it in a matter of 5 minutes - attach drive, check box "make drive available from internet", set password for external access, done. I highly recommend it to everyone.
