A year ago I had a similar problem and some ex-Connectix guys now working for Microsoft at MacWorld Expo told me an elaborate sequence of events to regain control of VPC 7 and get it working again.
After 3 complete crashes/HD failures of my G4 PowerBook (cf. more on this at MacIntoch) I reinstalled VPC and installed a numeric keypad driver: Giant Mistake!
I don't have the original instructions to fix VPC.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Thank you.
