| I'm surprised noone caught that line. Linux was modelled after Minix, and follows the POSIX standard, but is in no way based on the proprietary Unix system. Most 'nixers are very careful to point this out, even differentiating between FreeBSD (which is based on Unix) and any distribution based on the linux kernel. | ||
