I realize the implementations vary on this, but I would think the best thing to cover next would be access control. IMHO, OpenLDAP has the richest and cleanest mechanism. However in the interest of full disclosure I should add that as a (laggard) engineer I'm not exactly an impartial observer, just an objective one.
