Digidesign make a new MBox. MBox 2 Pro. I hope thay correct some problems with old one. It's Firewre. I think this is a veri gud product for 800 $, but first i read a reviews and forum posts about latency problems and sound of mic preamplifiers and A/D converters. For this prise MBox2 Pro, ProTools LE and plug-ins.... Whauuu. Logic is a good software but it's 999$ to expensive for lo budget users. For MIDI controler check this Novation Remote SL :) its the best. For cheap and good microphones check http://www.seelectronics.com/ . The sound of this cheap microphones is very close to Neumann sound. For portable recording check this http://www.core-sound.com/Mic2496/2.php very interesting . Record 24b/96kHz on your pocket PC. |
