I'd read elsewhere on the 'net that this was also a significant developer feature for Leopard. Bitmap graphics would still be supported, but the way of the future was scalable vector (PDF, etc.). Menues, buttons, interface elements, windows, etc. This big a change should, IMHO, clearly be a development update focus.


It's more than interesting to think of what the possibiliies a fully-scaleable MacOS GUI/display could bring to future Apple devices/products...
