With the latest (free) upgrade, to the 2006 OS from Nokia it moves to a proper, apt-based package management system.


This means:



  • No more faffing around with /var/lib/install

  • There's a pretty package manager for loading applications from repositories, and you can use apt-get from the command line.


Neat stuff.
