Mr. Bourne, I enjoyed you article and perspective. Aperture can be perhaps be considered a bridge between tools that other companies have honed and perfected(i.e., Photoshop). I like the way Apple develops their software. For example, iPhoto began as a very simple photo editor and management system for their consumer line and has evolved into an elegant program with huge photo storage capacity and wonderful full-screen editing. I see the same potential for Aperture, if it's audience believes in it. Aperture will enhance the professional photographer's creativity and productivity. |
