  Use iMovie HD, choose 'share' on your normal video, choose expert settings, choose export to ipod.

  WTF something isnt right. I got a eight inch av cable just like in the picture and i couldnt insert the thing fully into the ipod. I pressed it in but it didnt go in any further. Someone encounter this?

  ha ha ha, your "eight inch av cable" is about eight inches too long! heh. you meant eighth-inch, right? if that's not going in fully, it could be because your ipod isn't an ipod video. otherwise, there's probably some debris inside the jack. or maybe you have some unusual, proprietary, non-universal cable; try comparing it to other cables to see if its length looks abnormal.

  oops. Yeah, i meant eighth-inch.
  Well, im sure i got an ipod video: 2.5inch color display, got a video section in the menu, 30gb, just bought last december(2005), i cant be wrong.
  The cable looks just like a normal headphone, except it has for rings and a bit longer. It's from a camcorder. That is the "eighth-inch av cable", right?

  I have gone through your website, which nodoubt is very informative, great job. Your website convinced me to buy Ipod, so i did and its a 80 gb video IPOD, but when I connect it to TV as per your guidence it gives me good sound on Tv but no Video, I made sure many times , I do have right colour combination, everything with wires are fine, tv out is on, checked on both NTSC and Pal, but still no VIDEO, could you help with my problem, the cable i have is same as you pic on website. will appreciate your soonest reply. Thanks
