Very good article, but you lost me in step 6 of deploying the HelloWorld portlet. You issue a maven cmd but nowhere did you mention a dependancy on maven to work the examples. Is that a given? Why not just use Ant? Erik Weibust

  Yes your right, i should have mentioned dependency on maven.
  
  The reason i am using maven is because pluto online documentation talks about using maven for installing your portlet.
  
  I am planning to talk about admin portlet in next part of this article.
  
  Sunil
