Excellent advice! It's now standard practice for me when I set up new machines on our network. You briefly mentioned Windows Media Player in your article. This also has a desktop shortcut created by the JIT setup. You can disable WMP in exactly the same way as OE: find the key {6BF52A52-349A-11D3-B153-00C04F79FAA6} and rename "StubPath" to "HideStubPath". |
