.Net is arguably Microsoft's last-ditch effort at _completely_ imprisoning its user base. Ok, perhaps "last-ditch" is overly optimistic, but it certainly has desperation written all over it (in 32 point blinking bold). At the very least, it's an extremely ambitious evolution of their on-going BBPA(*) project.


Supporting the .Net assault in any way whatsoever seems like asking a prison warden if he'd like you to help tighten your shackles.


But hey... people literally flog themselves too. Go figure.
