Sorry, if there is a simple answer to this question, but I'm a terminal newby and confused.


When I go to make a backup copy of sendmail using "sudo cp -p sendmail.cf sendmail.cf.bak" I get this:


cp: sendmail.cf: No such file or directory


Any help would be appreciated.

    Sounds like you aren't in the directory /etc/mail.
