Yup, that's about right, but there's been some fall in price since I initially built the system. I imagine that a number of people would go with a passive cooled motherboard, which would be cheaper. It would also be possible to save some money by going with a more traditional case. I've posted what I paid in April/May for the hardware in my blog at http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/wlg/7568.
