For someone whose first task on a Windows XP session is to switch to classic L&F, I really couldn't care less about the default UI enhancements. It mostly looks like eye candy with no truly innovative/productivity increasing new ideas.


So my question is "What's new under the hood?" If there is as little new innovation in the core OS as there is in the UI, then there is really no reason for me to upgrade for a number of years.
