Well, I was personally ecstatic when 1.2 was released at all, since I'd been compiling a new kernel daily since somewhere in the late patch level 90's of the 1.1 kernel series ;-)


I do remember the "stable" 1.2.x kernels releasing an awful lot of patches before arriving at 1.2.13 as well.
