Hi,
I've followed the nice clear instructions and have Tomcat installed on under OS 10.4. I did make one mistake and installed it in the main Tomcat directory but altered the soft link to overcome this. When I run ./Tomcat I get asked for a password and once I have given this I just get returned to the command prompt. I get no indication that the Tomcat script from the article has been run and can't connect to a local host. Java version comes back as 1.4.2_07 - I downloaded developer pack 1.6


Can someone please help me get tomcat up and running
