We can write the same application in many different ways, using many different designs. When I write a function that has a single return statement instead of multiple points of return, it gives me a certain pleasure (even if it has the same result as its multiple return points counterpart). A nice design that comes to mind when writing an application, can it not be compared to a painting that comes to a painter or a symphony to a musician from some unknown place? The more we are in contact to that unknown place, the more developed our consciousness is, the more beautiful programs we can write! -Sid. |
