  Password Management
Subject:   SQLROQ Everywhere

I have for years used the same email account at all retailers, and I also use the same password for each retailer. Whenit comes to self defence, I take a very passive posture. Heck, I even have a distinctive email address that is based on my Ham Callsign - a slightly clever person can get my current address from public records, if they so desired... Of course, when I enter into a commercial exchange with someone, and my email address relates to my home address, it builds trust very quickly.

Also, it is just about guaranteed to be unique - who would pick N2PQR@yahoo.com as their email address unless N2PQR meant something to them, and what could it mean except for their call sign.

You wouldn't believe how convienient it is to have ONE PIN for your banc card, calling card, garage door opener, ONE password for all your retail accounts, and ONE email address for all vendor accounts (I always use N2PQR@yahoo.com when prompted, though I never read actual email onthat account)...

Of course, once my password or PIN is compromised, the person then needs to figure out WHERE my banc account, vendor accounts, and other things are located ;^) They could never figure that out, could they...

Really?

Damn.
