| This is perhaps only mildly related, but I was wondering if there's a way to view an RSS feed or other XML document in Safari in a more "raw" format, similar to the way IE displays xml files, without Safari automatically kicking into the more user-friendly display? | ||

Looking at XML files in Safari
First of all, thanks for taking the time to write, I really do appreciate it! :^)
As soon as Safari recognizes a "feed", it will automatically switch to the user friendly display and, as far as I know, no interface setting exists to control that behavior. However, you can always use the "View Source" menu to get a look at the raw source of a page including feed pages.
