Running a cafe can get a game of slim margins. Why does everyone assume you need DSL to make it worth while?
I sort of assumed people didn't like dial up because it lacked DSL's "always-on" features, but the Airport base stations takes care of that nicely.
And $20/month dial-up account comes with a lot less strings attached, and hassle.
Sure its slower, but if the choice is between no wireless, and dial-up. I would choose dial-up.
Also, does one really need to buy a new iBook to get Airport Admin software?
