I received this phone from a friend who did not use it anymore. I have an account with cingular wireless in Puerto Rico and tried to use my SIM card on the phone (I used it before in another AT & T phone, Samsung brand, and worked perfectly) but when I turned the phone on and after entering the SIM code, appears a "locked phone" message in the display..Can you help me ?????

    Usually you should not be able to use Cingular SIMs in AT&T phones or visa versa. This is due to cingular's SIMs being "64bit" and AT&T SIMs being 32bit.
