Given that so many people use DVD as a low cost archiving media, at least for their not too huge digital files, is there any format that has a particular advantage over the others in this regard?
In particular, is either one of the write only formats more or less likely to have long term compatability with players, or are there particularly good/ bad batches of any format for long term stability?
