I assume for the server name one uses for LinkBack should following bundle naming conventions at least to the point of identifying the product itself (can add addition .blah if your app has multiple servers) or is that done automatically internally somehow ???

  You can use any kind of naming scheme you want actually. Your server names are unique to your application. In fact, as along as you only register as a single server (which is what 95% of developers will do), then you can just pick a name a go with it.
