Subject:   Remix Brighton?

I just wanted to mention that Remix Reading is also looking for more programmers as well as sponsorship.

We are currently thinking of setting up Remix Brighton with LOCA Records, using the same codebase and allowing people to import files from one site to the other. For those of you who don't know, Brighton is a town jammed full of artists. I think it would be great to introduce the ideas of Creative Commons and Free Software in Brighton, as well as having events, remix competitions, etc.

However, we can only do this with your help; the code, based on Drupal, needs more work before we can roll out other Remix projects. With sponsorship or even small individual donations, we could fund our main programmer to speed things up, contributing both to our projects, the wider Creative Commons movement and the free software CMS Drupal.

See how to get involved here:

And to donate or even sponsor us here:

Thanks,

Edward
