Okay, I think I messed up - I replaced ALL the default files with my newwebsite - I guess this threw everything out the window of Apaches default folder. After putting everything back to how it was when I first started messing around, I can now see the old website. Sorry for the confusion. I guess that the previous message with the error log just shows me turning web sharing off and on as I tried to figure out what was going on? Cheers, Tatlar

  I saw the same messages in my apache log (which is how I got to this page ;->) The solution was to remove the .DS_Store file from the document root directory (/Library/WebServer/Documents). These folders are created by the Finder.
