While I wouldn't doubt that the number of attempts to infect Macs will increase as it's market share increases, I wouldn't give too much credit to a report from Symantec as they are the biggest benefactors from Mac users worrying about viruses. It's kind of like a report commissioned by Microsoft which shows you're more productive with Windows than Mac, it's probably founded in some truths but it's definitely biased.
