You'll have to find someone who's shooting with a P200 to get the real scoop. But the movie mode looks average at best. Sony isn't using MPEG-4 with this camera.


If you want to compare apples to apples, I'd look at the Sony DSC-M1. It too is a hybrid camera like the Casio P505. You can read a review of the M1 at PCMag.

    I agree that the movie mode with the P505 is top notch for a digital camera. But what about indoor photos - how good is it with whe using flash - is there any red-eye? There is absolutely none with the Sony P200 as far I have heard.

      Indoors with flash is very good; one of its strengths. In fact, the still pictures indoors are better than the regular snapshots outdoors, IMHO.
