It would be interesting to go through your list again in a discussion of OpenOffice. It would win some (e.g. PowerPoint XML) lose some (web services toolkit) and be irrelevant for others. And of course the release of the OpenOffice 2.0 beta would make this new version of your list a lot more work, but even more interesting.
