The best way to get art is through FetchArt. It takes a playlist and gets the art from Amazon for each song. Its drawback is that it looks up each song, song by song, instead of per-album. But it is way better for getting artwork than any other method I've seen. Though Clutter is a fun toy when you stack hundreds of CDs on the desktop.


Also, Doug's applescripts for iTunes site (google it) has some great scripts for rounding up all of the songs you have without artwork, and then building a playlist of these. You can then run fetchart on this list. Be careful, though: I had about 7000 songs in the list and the damn thing's been running for 4 days now.
