Looking at HachTV output seems limited in resolution. I'm using a 50" Pioneer HDTV Plasma as output for my Mac mini. I have been looking to use it as a media centre with wireless mouse/pointer.


Is it possible to record HD content on the mac and compress using H.264 as in the developer release of Mac OSX 10.4 Quicktime?


Also anyone know of a way to rip DVDs with the option of keeping or removing the subtitles while watching the films.
