I have some problems trying out the example. I used copy and paste for the JSP as well as for the MIDlet. When I execute the Midlet I get the Output: Got: null Date&time: Thu Jan 10 01:48:46 PST 2002 Any hint will be appreciated Thanks Karl P.S. I use Forte and Tomcat

  It seems that it has to do with the emulator. I just tried it out with the siemens sl45i emulator and it worked. The emulators from the J2ME WTK 1.0.3, which I use with Forte, still don't work.
