Back a few years, back when being "EXTREEEEEME!!!" was still the hip new thing and not a parody of itself (I know, during that five-minute timespan) every major cola company, and a few minors, were bringing out their own "supercharged" soda, if they didn't already have it. Jolt Cola was the leader; Pepsi was well-entrenched with the high-caffeine Mountain Dew; Coca-Cola brought out "Surge"; and the Royal Crown Company brought out "RC Edge", which advertised not only caffeine, but ginseng and taurine in the formula. Coca-Cola has since discontinued Surge, it seems, and RC has discontinued RC Edge. But here's the thing -- I have had at least three different medications for my ADD, and none of them worked as well to keep me alert and calmly focused as RC Edge did. I would truly love to see them recontinue the product or transfer the formula to someone who will.
