To edit documents over SCP with BBEdit I use Fugo (Freeware) and/or RBrowser (Shareware). That way I do not need this kind of protocol to open it directly via BBEdit.



Fugu and RBrowser can define a default editor to open documents, which is in most cases BBEdit for me.
